Police are continuing to investigate two rapes in Great Yarmouth.
Officers were called to South Beach Parade at 12.37am on Saturday 16 May 2026 following reports that two teenage girls had been raped.
A man aged in his 30s was arrested in Northamptonshire the following day (Sunday 17 May 2026) on suspicion of rape. He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has subsequently been released on bail.
Officers searching for a second suspect have identified a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigations and present lines of enquiry indicate this suspect is outside of the county and enquiries to locate him continue.
